Hi all just looking for abit of help,I have searched google and this forum for answers with no avail,Right some of you might of seen my previous post with the fag lighter wiring,dash is coming out sunday but have been looking at the wiring diagram at the back of the haynes manual,if you follow the earth wire you can see it leads to what I belive is an earth point with around 5 earths,If you follow the live wire it just runs to the letter A in a black triangle,also looking at some of the other wiring some run to Q in a black triangle and some are numbers in a black triangle,Does any one Know what the black triangles mean with various numbers and letters in,couldn't sleep last night lol as this one's got me stummped thanks again

nope,first page list everything ie 1.hazzard wirinng,17.fag wiring,it then tells you the diagram number and grid reference and the coulour chart,but that's it, very frustrating

They probaly represent positions in fuse box or a relay. Get a pic up so i can see may be able to help.

The A triangle in that pic on the fag lighter represents a 12v feed from either the ignition or the battery.

would it run to the fuse box?as fuse 2 has blown which is the fag lighter,when the multi meter is at fuse 2 and A earth there's a circut,just trying to gauge some info as dash is out sunday and will not be going back in till its sorted,the clock display shows nothing now,there must be a live touching the body along the lines as when packing up for the night when i was last at it the fag lighter wires were not making a circut but earlier on in the day they were thanks phill any ideas what the rest of the letters symbols mean?

just spoke to a great chap from haynes(thanks fraggle) explained to me what the A means and spent about 10mins trying to explain different test and soloutins great customer service,He said the way the A is facing means that current is being sent that way and the A will be on another page wich corrisponds with where this wire runs if that makes sense
