I assume you tried the light dimmer switch for the dash lights ?, if the switch is duff simply fit another, or just bypass for ful brightness of the dials, most are on that all the time anyway.

afaik, all the mondy had dimmer, it's likely as yours has the switch it does too, I would have a dig around and find the missing connector, you need this connector to easily light up the panel lights, but other ways of doing it if necessary, ie yours doesn't have the dimmer bit in the loom, so I'd defo have a good hunt for that first.
