if the performance cam pullys ar ajustable then there pretty much the same as veriers, cos the advantage with verniers are that you can ajust the avance and retard

No cam pulley is going to give any increase, but those that allow adjustability so the cams can be swung either way on a dyno(valve clearance permitting) could give a little more, but if just cams personally I wouldn't bother, the cams will be produced/dialled to the best settings anyway.
