My Mk4 TDCi has been good since new last year until this week, when I found it completely dead in my driveway after being locked up overnight.
Symptom was simply NO electrical power - couldn't use remote to unlock doors, when unlocked manually no interior lights, absolutely no response when turning on ignition etc - to all intents and purposes 0v coming from battery.
Car has spent four days at local Ford dealer who claim no fault codes, no fault found and after being charged all well. Except when I got the car home I discovered auto up windows not working (auto down ok) and drivers window doesn't shut using the auto close feature of key - who else know what isn't working properly.
So, does anyone know how to access fault codes on this car or return locks, windows, immobiliser, alarm etc etc to factory default settings.,....or is there really something wrong here??
Thanks for any and all - email me direct at fp944s2@gmail if you wish...
