It will work, but if you buy Loctite 5900 or 5910, you'll never look at Hyloamr again, and be able to use it on a lot more things, glass wood plastic fibreglass carbon ceramic metal bricks etc etc.

@ tabetha can i also use this loctite instead of epoxy to ''glue'' the pipe for the breather in the camcover, i've read the specs of it and i think it will work???

Yes will do the job perfectly, but you will have a fight on your hands if you ever want to take it out again!!
I have bookshelf supports held on with this stuff, with 3 model cars 1/10 lecky ones plus controllers on it plus spares etc, radio papers other odds and sods!!

How long does it take for the Loctite to harden to full strenght??

If you use the quick setting one(5910) then about 10 minutes, the other around 1 hour(5900).
There is a reason why this stuff is expensive, a tube of around 300ml is somewhere in the region of £18-£22.

if it is thats what u reccomended that u used on the bolt i fitted to the back of the blocks!! think with my trade card was about £3 odd for a 80ml tube in halfords!

i use locctite 5910 never fails. evan use it instead of theromasat and water pump gasket. no leaks!

Yes that's the stuff, my local halfords doesn't sell it, looked at my tube today, it is 1500ml, god knows where I got 300 from!!
