It's a while since I worked on one mate but just check the loom that runs near the top (or bottom) of the rad (all the way along) seems to ring a bell as being a problem area.

Is F22 blown again? It's for the starter relay, and glow plug relay (which is more suspect and situated on the n/s inner wing), have a look to see if its got water ingress and/or burnt out.

no fuse 22 ok, but the light below the clock is not flashing and i think that has something to do with the passive anti theft system, any idea's?!

Did you have a look at the glow-plug relay as above?

just wanted to say that i had the same problem, engine cut out and fuse 22 kept blowing!!!!
It was the wiring loom as AndyST says.
at the top of the radiator under the slam pannel, right next to the air intake plastic pipe there was a metal retaining clip that had worn through 3 wires causing a short.. take the air intake out to get better access.
Thankyou to all the posters above for your much needed help.
