Default td immobilser problem after pump change

ive just swapped the injector pump off my td escort van for one off a mondeo td as mine didint have the boost compensator to adjust the on-boost fueling.

now after fitting the new pump the van wont even turn over, put the key in, glow plugs light up but nothing at all to start it. is there anyway to bypass the immobliser or at least get the van running again?

i still have the original pump and have heard that i need to swap the electrical gummins off that one onto the new one but to be honest thats going to be a ball-ache to take the new pump off again!

help!!!!

unfortunately the pump will have to come off again, they are coded to the ecu. but u can get away with swappin the electronic gubins over and use the ones from the original pump, but u will have to tap the shere bolts out with a centre punch and hammer as their is armoured metal tamper proof plate around them. Iv been their and done that wot uv done.

on my 306 td i had the same problem the pump was coded and it wouldnt start because the immobilizer was in the key, a way round it was to run a live of the ignition to the stop solenoid on the pump, not sure if its the same as a escort/mondeo but work a try
