Default ST170 ABS Light

Hi all,

I have a 2002 ST170.

Driving to work yesterday and the ABS and traction control lights came on. The car is driving fine but the lights won't go out!

Does anybody have any ideas of what the problem could be or suggest anything that I should check first?

Cheers

I would try the fuse first and then try and see if the brakes are still using the ABS safely. Then maybe try cleaning the brake sensors as this is what my mates was all covered in dirt sprayed with brake cleaner and it went off never came back on. It could be something else but these aren't going to cost you anything

Great advice guys. Thnaks for your replies!

I'll check the fuses tonight and give them a clean at the weekend if that doesn't work.

I was hoping it might be a drity sensor but never thought about checking the fuses!

you can pull some codes up on the dash to give you some idea of problems however not all DTC's are shown on the dash.
Try www.ffoc.co.uk for info on how to do as can never remember.
