Hey Brits. I need a new IRV for my escort, BUT

Its the magnetic one located on top of the air filter it self, its an VAE-05 and i cant find any that matches, i can however find some with another ending number but the same looks an size, can i use them?


And another question: I want a remote irv, but i cant seem to find one? Any idear where i can buy one (WITH the backplate) ?

Yup the idle regulation valve.

Yes you can use another, if it has the same amount of wires, it will be fine.
If wanting to remote mount it, you could use something from any other car that works the same way, ie same amount of wires.
I have used Vaux ones on other cars, the omega V6 ones have a bit of pipe for in and out so are ideal, but just scour ebay for best one.

I am not sure what type yours is, so I'm not going to say 100% it will work, I know I have used it on cars in the past.
