cooling fan wont work.make of vehiclke ford fiesta mark 4 1992 model

Question cooling fan wont work.make of vehiclke ford fiesta mark 4 1992 model

cooling fan wont work. checked fan with alternate power source works ok. checked fuse ok. put new thermostat on thats ok but still wont work. can anyone help please.

Have you checked the tempreture switch in the radiator, there should be two wires going to it. Take the wires off and with a piece of wire bridge the two wires if the fan runs then its the radiator switch, Remember you will need your ignition on. Hope this helps and good luck

also mk4.s were 1996 onwards
if its a mk3 the fan switch is on the stat housing where the top rad hoes goes in to teh engine

Thanks for the input, tried the bridge. The switch has gone caput replacing tomorow nice one.
