Default Fiesta Engine loom re-wiring.

Hi there, this is my first post on the forum. Thanks to some rather large rodents making a nest in front of the bulkhead in my P'reg fiesta, and chewing through a lot of the wires in the engine loom, I unfortunately have to rebuild it ,the loom that is. It would have been a fairly simple task to just rejoin most of them, but the majority of the wires that are broken are black, ignition wires I presume?, and this makes it slightly more difficult. If anyone could send me a copy of a wiring diagram, for the engine loom of a P'reg ford fiesta 1.4 with endura written on the rocker cover, I'd be very grateful.

Black on a ford is a switched live, have they just eaten the insulation or broken the strands as well ?
TVR's are always having their looms eaten as well by mice/rats etc!!

The strands have been completely chewed through, save for two black wires. At least four of the wires end up at the injectors, while the others are for the alternator.

The only way out then, without spending mega bucks is to go all the way back till you can see wire colour, at each end and rejoin.

I see, in order for me to trace the wires will the dashboard have to come out for me to gain access to the ecu?, im not entirely sure where it is on a fiesta.

Thanks in advance.

It should be in the same place as the mk3 fiesta just behind the fire wall on the passenger side. so no need to take the dash apart. pretty sure thats right.
