removing pvc valve on zetec

can i remove this and put a plate over the hole and block the 4 holes on the exhaust manifold?? does it effect the engine in anyway?? its a 1.8 silver top in a xr3..

afaik the pcv is there to relieve pressure in the block and allows unwanted vapours etc to escape. blocking it off may cause oil leaks if the pressure builds up

fair do,s.. sure ive seen it done somewhere.. n iv a spare 1.8 zetec silvertop which has no pipes running to the exhaust manifold..
