Green L8 does expect a lambda sensor. However, when it is not connected the ecu uses the default. If it's over fuelling check coolant temp sensor and map sensor for correct voltages. Then check fuel pressure and injectors for leaks.
cheers mate, will get them checked, i didn't know the map sensor would cause this though? hugh
MAP sensor could cause the fault, if you ever look at a fuel map for ecu you'll see that as the vacuum becomes more atmospheric in pressure, then onto boost, it enrichens the mixture as there is more load on the engine.
a faulty MAP sensor may be to blame, but so could the cts sensor if it's faulty and sends a cold reading all the time, it'll be in warmup enrichment mode, thusly too rich.
