Default reusing headgaskets

what ones are reusable??? i have a felpro off a engine that never run, just thought id ask before i go spending

have known people to re-use certain types before but for me no way I'd buy another!

are head gaskets not multi layer ? so once its been compressed against head/block its no use once split? ?

A guy on the norwegian fmcn.no forum have used his 0611 gasket 5 times now, running 1.8Bars and peaked 2.55bars when his boostcontroller failed. Still works a treat.

BUT, I would never put an engine back together with the same gasket

kverna: remember that that car is an OHC turbo engine, with a steel head.

with the cheap price on headgaskets i would never use one twice...

i've done it once, in the early days, lasted about a hundred miles, then went big time.
just get a new one, as you've stated above.
