focus deisel loosing power

hi,driving along the car wont accelerate and glow plug light comes on,have to turn ignition off then on to continue normal driving any clues would be great.kev

power loss

get the car diagnost checked sounds like its goning into limp home mode.
sounds like its the turbo actuator over boosting

ok thanks , could it be the cam shaft sensor needs a clean,after a starter motor replacement.kev

no would not have thought so cam shaft sensor in head if u mean crank shaft sensor. i would not have thought it to becrank sensor as engine would not spark if crank sensor was the problem
