escort mk6 heater controls
my blower works on 1 and 2 anyone any idea why it doesnt work on 3 is there a rheostat or relay setup that is playing up if it is any idea where it is

It's odd it doesn't work on 3 as if this is the fastest setting(I'm assuming it is)it is direct 12v, that bypasses the resistor pack.
The pack is normally mounted on the motors themselves, with a moulded connector with the heater wires going to it.
As it works at all we know the earth is ok, so this leaves a duff switch, or break in the wire, broken connection at resistor end, on the number 3 wire.
