then its got superior 4 wheel abs on it rather than the earlier RS2000/XR3i 2wheel abs

your basically driving around in a gti with a boat anchor in the front and some recaro seats in it

You forgot the bigger front brakes and wheels robbed from a MK5 Escort Ghia Si

Yeah, most MK6 RS2000s have drums on the rear. There are a few exceptions, but generally they have drums, but as Mr ScORTED says, you have four wheel ABS, and the rear disks don't offer any massive benefit outside the cosmetic improvement.

MK6 has a nicer interior and does ride/drive a bit nicer IMO, so it's a more rounded car, despite not having the looks of the MK5.

Can always fit Focus rear disks if it's bugging you that much

Only 3 things can be done mate if ya want rear discs .

1' Rip the ABS system out of the car and Fit RS2K disc beam

2' Fit a RS2K disc beam and run around with the ABS light on

3' Focus rear disc conversion. Some machining work is required to the Hubs for the ABS to be working and the Light off.
