Question series 1 rs

anybody now why my series 1 runs like a pig when cold ?
taken out the cold start valve cleaned it
and check the soliniod works ok
dose not click when ignition is turn on from cold !
what controls it ?
fuse ?
ecu ?
some one help me please

have you tried the collant temp sensor?
located on the inlet manifold.
common for these to let you think the cold start is faulty.
