Default RS2000 4x4 rear brakes

Hi there fellas ive got a problem with my rear brakes on my 4x4 ! The rear disc brakes have the handbrake work off a drum inside the disc but the backplates on both sides are completely rotten ! Ford dont sell these anymore and when they did they were over £200 a side . So i was wondering if any of the cossie rear brakes off a saph would fit ?

No the sapphy(cos) rear brakes are a combined caliper + e/brake that fits on exterior of the disc.
You could make up some brackets to use these though, so that you get a e brake, brackets are not hard to do, 5mm steel mounted between hub/arm would do the job.

I don't know if the hubs will fit, but wouldn't be surprised if they did.
For cable just look at each cable from cos and rs, as the front part may well be the same, if so most likely escos one would go straight on.

Its the backplate for the drum inside the disc ! Where the shoes mount to but also acts as a dust cover for the discs ! Both sides on mine are rotten so need replacing or upgrading to discs and calipers without the internal drum handbrake !
