lethal xr3i. sliding all over shop
has'nt rainned 4 a while but as soon as it did the back end of the xr keeps wantin to skid out.. when u hit a bump on a corner or a painted line whilst on a round about.. scary as f***.. any ideas what would make the back end do this?? the tires are o.k 1 tire is slightly worn on inside.. im guessin it needs new rear dampers??

Tyre pressure would be first thing, next look for loosenes/slop in any rear bushes.
Soft dampers will certainly make it worse in the wet than dry, but you'd still feel it in the dry.

Has it got the right width tyres on the back? Often boy racers fit wider alloys that result in a tyre footprint that is too big (thinking it increases grip), but in fact it reduces the grip and makes the car lethal.
Put two bags of sand in the boot and try it.
