Ka fuel gauge problem
the mrs ka seems to be stopping at just under 1/4 when infact its empty and starts cutting out, so for some reason isnt showing any lower and showing fuel light.
im going to change the fuel filter as this might be full of crap now but any ideas why its doing this, its a 2006 so only just out of warranty will ford still fix this under goodwill
cheers

You can only give the goodwill thing a go.
I can only assume it's been like this since new ?, and that something is either restricting/stopping the float from falling all the way, or it was a bit bent when installed, either way the cure is to bend the arm on the float.

not yet its deff related to not having fuel so its either the gauge not working or the sender going to change the fuel filter next week first then inspect the float see if there is any obvious problems
