Bothe the main feed and return ipes are buggered on my cosworth, thing is, could i just do away with the power steering and get a manual rack out of another sierra or does anyone have any other suggestions as i cant get the pipes from anywhere for half sensible coin

best to remove your pipes and find somewhere loacal ish who make hydraulic linesm, there in everytown on the mainland and should do them in minutes whilst you wait.
you can also fit a manual rack off a non PAS sierra too IIRC.
a mate of mine swapped his normal one for a PAS one, never got round to fitting the pump or anything though lol

You have several options, just renew pipes as said above, they will be vastly better quality too as a result, just remove hydraulic parts, put on a manual rack from a sierra(non pas) but you will increase the turns to turns lock, but you can get quick racks, about 2.7 turns lock to lock, even the touring cars used manual racks with limiters.

sorted managed to get a hose made up today, i had to weld my own end for the rack to the pipe but works great, cheers
