Default Brake upgrades - 4 pots, Pedal Box's and Biasing

Just after some brief advice really, I would like to upgrade the brakes in my Fiesta Zetec-S at some point this year, it's currently running 300mm Mondeo Mk3 calipers and ST170 discs upfront, and a 258mm Focus set-up on the rear, however they are pants, and I have decided just to go all out with an upgrade.

I would like to go for a set of 4 pots up front, and have only just started looking, but I know I can pick up a set by Wilwood or Hi-Spec. Any pro's or cons of each set up? The Wilwoods did confuse me a little, as it's all sold in components.

Also, I have been thinking about whether it's worth going with a pedal box and biasing valve, if I did decide to go with this, what else would be needed apart from the box? I have seen a kit for about £200 that includes the resovoirs, but would I need to run braided lines (not the ones to the calipers, aeroquip or whichever they are ) to see the biggest benefit?

The car is intended to be used for Fast Road and track, so please no comments about "it's only a Fiesta" as it will be more than that. Also an indication of rough price would be great also.

Cheers, Rob

No real feel in the brakes, not as sharp as I would expect, my previous ZS with uprated discs and pads felt like a better set up.

I want a set-up that will offer alot of confidence, and also real performance when needed.

Set of Mintex one's at the moment, I dont think they are uprated ones however, just an OEM compound.

OEM's should be fine on a light car unless its tracked weekly

I'd guess you may be suffering from unsprung weight issues with that lot as its quite a heavy combination of parts to use despite it being popular.

Not quite sure to be honest, only other thing I have thought to do is put in some good quality fluid, and go for some decent pads and discs, however the cost of all the above wouldnt be far off what I can pick a set of 4 pots for.

I've got a set of 15" Compomotive TH's, so hoping they should clear, was told that Evo's have been known to run 320mm brakes with the same wheels.
