zetec loom
hi all im starting a 2.0 zetec conversion and im very confused as to what part of the loom i need ..I wil be running on carbs but whats the diffrence between edis esc and well all of it and what parts of the loom do i need i.e all including the ecu any help would be great and finally put me in the right direction

if your running on carbs, then just take teh EDIS module and loom to it all the way back to the next multiplug. this should include the crank sensor wiring from memory.
for best results you should buy a mappable ignition ecu such as megajolt etc so you are only taking the loom for the plugs as you will need to cut into the loom for the megajolt, but this can be neatly done at the main engine harness plug connection.
ive only stripped out 1.8 looms though so the 2l may not have that connecting plug, and only early cars have external EDIS but you will see the module if its external.

If your just going to get up and running the edis module will function in limp mode without the ecu so will fire at 10 degrees btdc but you may aswell just do it properly from the start with mj.
