54reg ford focus C-max TDI air con fault
hi folks i've been skulking around here for a wile now and i've come over from the sxoc
sorry for this being my first post but this car is doing my head in!
been having a few problems with a mates air con on his focus g-max with the car running when you flick the air con switch on the dash the you can hear the usual clicking behind the dash and the light in the switch comes on but the air con isn't turning on. i've put a manual feed to the compressor to activate it while the car is running and air con switch turned on and the compressor engages and is working fine but still get no cold air as it doesn't seem to be getting any gas
he's had it gassed to make sure thats fine.
now i'm guessing there must be a sensor down some were??
anyone have an idea? i hope so as this seems the right place for proper tech advice!
funnly enough my brother had the same fault on his 51reg golf TDI and i traced the fault to the sensor failing in the top rad hose i replaced it and it was fine but i'm a bit stuck with this one
