i have a mk3 escort combi estate thats had a full mk 4 conversion with a N/A 1.8 ZVH engine in it. i am going to put the engine and gearbox out of my orion (mk2) in it which is a 1.6 carb engine now on twin carbs/cam etc etc.
can anyone point out parts that wont work with the conversion and/or anything that i will need to change like the fuel tank for example?
any tips or advice is greatly needed as its the first time i have attempted something like this and i cant afford for it to go balls-up as its my daily driver!
i am also a bit concered about the wiring loom and how that is going to be swapped. (can i use the current loom and just disregard the spare wires or are they too different?)
the orion will be broken after the convo so it doesnt matter what i strip from that.
thanks in advance...
