Cosworth 2WD abs light stays on
Hi All,
Can i ask for some help and advise, ive been tinkering on the Cossie the last few weeks, and decided that the front Wheel bearing needed changing as there was a horrible knocking noise coming from the front right wheel.
The wheel bearings were changed all ok and now the noise has gone .
I had to remove the ABS sensors from the hubs when they were out i gave them a really good clean and cleaned the holes on the Hub where the sensors sit into. Since then my ABS light will not switch off when the car is started.
Before i did the hubs the ABS light inside did switch off ok.
Does that mean that i need new sensors - I can hear a whining when the car starts so i think the ABS unit is working.
I have a 1989 2WD Sapphire Cosworth.
Are you able to buy new sensors, and where can you get them from ?
Many thanks
Andy
