Hoping you can help me, i have a 2.1 zetec turbo and garrett GT3071
i need an external wastegate but am unsure of what i need , i ideally want to be able to hit 34ish psi at high boost and an 18psi low boost level

i have an apexi avc-r boost controller what size external gate will i need?

You should be able to get away with a 38mm, but personally I would go for a 44mm as ive experienced problems with boost creep at the top end of the rev range when using the 38mm, im sure part of that was to do with the manifold design in question not being ideal, but even so the 38mm certainly exagerated that issue.
