Should I change to greens???
I recently bought a saff with 358.3 bhp..the car came with a dyno print out to prove the power
Thing is, the car runs really rich. Would I be better off switching to green injectors???

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
If it's too rich you need to investigate why it does so.
Could be a chip with a incorrect setup for your engine or just poor tuning.
Either way, if there are no problems with the electronics, you need to have a chip made custom for your engine to get it right.
If you change the injectors you cannot avoid having a chip made for you.
What injectors are used currently? Any idea what chip is in and who made it?

I understand that everything will need to be mapped properly, that go's without saying.
Thing is,at the moment it's an all or nothing car...loads of lag, loads of boost...it is fun snaking off in the distance after giving the car next to me a false sence of hope but I would like to make the car a little more drivable
I'm aiming for 330 to 350bhp so should I stick with the greys and get it mapped again or change to greens then get it mapped???
Has anyone had experience with different injectors, and what are the pro's and con's?
all advice gratiously recieved and thanks for the replys so far

currently running grey's..unsure of chip, bought the car as it stands, the previous owner claims it was live mapped though

I would very strongly advise you have a profssional look at this setup mate. It wont cost too much to have the whole setup looke at including engine settings, fuelling, detonation levels and chip suitability. You should then get a report of what is and is not right and begin to move forward in making the car both your own, and more importantly, safe.

Grey injectors are no longer produced, so if needing to buy new Siemens would be better bet, but don't change just for the sake of it if not needed.
If it were on dark greens(803's) then you would struggle to 350, my set were at 80% duty at around 300bhp, so in went a set of greys(403's).
As said it has to be the right mix of bits to work altogether as one.
I had a similar/ish prob when I got my cossie, on the rollers all seemed fine, good power but off boost was dire, nothing nothing bang wheelspin in every gear, though it has to be said that was down to lack of grip from the oe D40 tyres still on the car, so must have been 15+ years old!!
Anyway did a mega service the next day, including the fuel filter what a massive difference, actually drove off boost nicely and lot more power off boost, no more on boost power but actually driveable as opposed to on/off switch, old one had a date on it which was 12 years before, despite receipts from two ford garages for major services, even had a dyno sheet showing 181bhp(crank), but didn't seem to trigger any bells with owner at the time that is was not right, was running a westfield chip from GGR.
