mondeo accessory belt noise
Have 06 mondeo tdci 130. Seems to have the classic symptoms of the crank pulley breaking down, a rattle at tick over which goes away as soon as revs are increased. Took belt off and noise goes away. All pulleys seem to rotate smoothly and crank pulley shows no sign of damage.
Tech service bulletin says crank pulleys after 04 were modified, so shouldnt be this?? Any ideas?
