Default L8 ECU red or green

I have a level 8 ecu with a baby pectel board how can I work out if it is a green or red to as the sticker is missing on the cover on the inside the flat upright bits on the circuit board are black & I have seen some with cream ones

the only difference is the chip

as it's running a pectel board, it all depends on who wrote the chip if the lambda is required or not

Yes. And the software dictates whether or not a lambda has to be present.
The hardware is the same for both.
