Mk2 RS200 what to look for when buying

Hi everyone. I am thinking of buying a 1980 RS2000 Custom (Wanted one since a little kid) and was just wondering if anyone can tell me of any common faults or problems I should look out for. I know these are old cars but dont want to buy a good looking car to find it has faults i could have spotted.

I assume you mean rs2000 mate. if so i would check out these sites. More old skool orientated
