not really on a budget, but will be putting weber 45s carbs on it soon but this is just for the moment my mate is running them on a race spec 2.0 zetec and got 192bhp on the rollers just trying to get my engine to the 2.0l spec before i get them, wanted to know what superchip would help me out?

that is what i was going to suggest.lol cams and carbs get 190bp all day long, as for the chip I really would'nt bother mate, I would saveour money untill you are ready to fit the carbs, unless its a turbo car the gains from the chip alone just arny worth it imo.

Why not go one better than your mate and get a set of throttle bodies? I have a contact who can supply some jenvey bodies, manifoldand fully mappable managment at a great price

200+bhp any one??? lol

cant beat that price but what does that include? for 1400+vat (normal price) the people who are doing my engine management can provide the following:

Jenvey Throttle Bodies
Manifold
Trumpets
Throttle Linkage
Fuel Rail
Injectors
Fully Terminated loom so it is plug and play
Throttle positin sensor
Air temperature sensor
Fully mappable ecu engine management

I think the price also includes them fully mapping it but I would have to check, im pretty sure I could arrange a good discount on this. Pelase remember though that these parts are all brand new and come with the usual warranties.

Hope this helps mate, me and my brother are building a mk1 with a 2ltr cos cast vauxhall init, we were going down the carb route but have now changed our minds for the throttle bodies after seeing them in action on a escort mk2, never heard anything like it!!! sounds like the hulk toking on a 10ft spliff!!lol

Whilst Jenvey are undoubtably excellent there are less expensive alternatives.
A race spec 2L zetec at 192bhp, I assume it is a very slow race then, that's hardly earth shattering, with EFI you will have vastly better driveability than 45's, and better mpg too, I ran 48 DHLA's with 42mm chokes on a celica RA 28, mpg was crippling despite being done on rollers, wish I'd had the money then to go efi.

in all fairness its 192bhp in a mk1 fiesta thats spec reaches as far as 2 seats and a steering wheel... so it flies!!!
