Default wideband o2

Hi guys i have a innovate motorsport wideband o2 controller with a bosch sensor and a 2wd saff cossie can i drill a hole in the top of the down pipe under the heat shield to put the sensor in or is this too close to the turbo will it be too hot or should i take the down pipe off and drill the hole further down.

cheers,
Phil

It will work there no problem, will shorten life a bit from what I've read, but not drastically so.

As tabetha says, it will work no problem, although a touch further down would help with sensor life.
