Unhappy Loud rattle from front passenger side wheel/suspension

I have a 1.25 fiesta mk5 and there is an annoying rattle at low speeds from the front passenger side of the car. i think it must be something to do with the suspension as i jacked the wheel up and turned it by hand and there was no rattle.

does any one have any ideas or are there any common problems like this? it only started a short time ago.

thanks

when you jacked it up did you check your bearings for movement, jack it up again and grab hold of the wheel at the 6 and 12 o clock position and give it a wiggle if there is any movement then your bearings are on there way out, and is it deffo a rattle and not more like a slight knock, and when does it make this noise, is it when it's going over bumps or just at certain speed's, it could be a few thing's lower arm's, ball joint's or drive shaft or your suspension top mount, but i wouldn't think it's the latter because they usually only go on older car's but you never no,

your best bet is if your not that mechanically minded i'd take it to a good garage that someone has refered you too and have them check it because sometime stuff like that can make you pull you hair out, and cost you more replacing parts you didn't have to

Check to see if your anti roll bar links are worn. Also check the anti roll bar bushes.Sometimes these wear and the roll bar rattles about.
