Hi, i know you posted this a while ago but i just wondered if you managed to do the conversion. I'm just in the process of doing this conversion myself, any help or sugestions would be great. Did you encounter any major problems?, cheers rob.

Dont think i might be of help here but a friend of mine has put recaros in a zetec s he had to use the last of the mk3 fiesta to get them to fit so if it has a petrol flap not a cap it had the rite runners dont know how similar the ka floor pan is to this year fiesta but could be worth a look.?

i would have thought one of the main problems you would encounter is the actual height of the engine as they are quite tall, i dont know if the ka engine mount is similar to the mk4 escort one or not but the mk4 escort mount can be modified to fit and lower the engine by about 20mm clearing the bonnet on a mk4, as for a ka it may have to go lower still
they are a stonking engine tho and very underated (especially by people on here lol!)

wont handle that well as its a heavy engine, i got one in my mk4 escort is good for straight line though because of the weight! good luck with the conversion.
