Default RWD escort mk4

Hey all hope you can help.

Thinking about doing a RWD conversion on a Mk4 escort and sticking a 2 litre zetec in it for some track fun. I cant find any info regarding this conversion though.

Im sure there used to be a company called Rallyfab that sold the weld-in kits but canny find and details on them.

Any help or contacts would be spot on

I take it you will want to go for an independent rear suspension set-up rather than a live axle? More complicated but a bit more up to date. I've heard of people using a custom prop with an Imprezza or Evo rear diff set-up as apparently the suspension is easier to fabricate around this than say using Sierra arms etc. Anyone else have opinions on this?

Will you be wanting to make the car look completely standard from the outside, no wide arches or clues to what lies beneath?

hmmm there's something alluring about an Escort Bonus sitting there with it's rear tyres alight!
