modaeo tdci- glow plug warning light flashing--help
help,
glow plug light started flashing and at same time ive lost all the surge expected from the turbo.......no smoke, noise etc...is it just a glow plug ? or some thing else......help save me money befor ei put it in to a dealer to diagnose.............

This light if flashing must also act as a engine management light then.
All you can do really is check the the pipes etc have not come off and daft things like that, then dealer or code reader if you have one.
It will NOT be caused by a glow plug.

very unlikely it'll be something easy really.
cam senser or an injector are the likely causes.
boost pipe between inlet and intercooler is common but black smoke would normally be expected and it doesn't normally put the engine light on.
check the pipes, but be prepared for a trip to the dealer i'm afraid
