Default Mk4 escort zetec conversion

Hello there every boby ive recently been offered a 2Ltr mondeo engine to put in my car through a friend of a friend,ive been thinking of doing a zetec conversion for a while now and its brought up a few questions the engine will come with all the ancilaries and the inlet and exhaust manifolds along with the mondeo wiring loom and ecu.I already have the modified engine mount thats required to fit it in the bay and i know i need a sump and water pump off a 1.8 escort zetec also that i can use my gearbox after a slight mod to the cvh flywheel the things im not sure about are wether the mondeo wiring loom and ecu would be ok to use instead of an escort one.Also wether to use a radiator off an escort or mondeo and which pipes to use.I think that should be enough for the time being thanks for all your advice in advance

On your site it says:
The mondeo oil pump fits on the escort and fiesta but it spins in the opposite direction so will pump the wrong way on the escort.

This can't be right as the crank turns the oil pump directly and the engines definately don't rotate the other way?

It is the waterpump that spins the wrong way on the 2.0 ltr, that is of course of you do not keep the PAS pump etc.

yes i believe you are right but it must pump different as i had a mondeo and escort pump side by side and they have the turbine part of the pump pumping opposite ways on each them!

you may want to keep the pas pump!!
i have complete mk5 zetec setup in my mk4 including alternator/ pas pump and brackets!
i have pas conversion

Cheers for all your input so far people,how do i go about blanking off the the power stering pump as i dont think ill bother putting it in ?
ps there is probabley another gear inside the casing thus reversing the drive of the pas pump just a suggestion though as ive never taken apart.

It is the extra pulley of the PAS pump that means that when the belt hits the waterpump it is going in the opposite directing. Hence, if you remove the PAS the belt will turn the waterpump the wrong way.
