Default The pimp machine is back!!!!

After 5 years off the road I decided my Beemer wanted using and taxed it this week, I have used it every day since and I love it This car was made in 1988 and still drives like a new car, no rattles, squeeks etc and for 218hp it's not slow either. I will never sell this car!!

Not had it on the rollers but it goes way better than the quoted output would ever suggest it should... The guys at the paint shop knew I would not stand for anything less than a perfect paint finish and didn't disappoint!

I did say that but when naming that price take into consideration that if ever I needed to sell all my cars and was told I could only keep one then this is the car I would keep

Stunning car! Had a soft spot for these after I saw one on massively wide Alpina rims years ago.

Rusty examples are the norm and are expensive to put right, I paid too much for this car 8 yrs ago but finding a 635 with zero rust was hard back then. I bought my first 6 series back in 1986 and had to put front wings on it then due to rust, this car has never seen a panel!

I was in traffic a couple of days ago and ended up sitting opposite a new shape 6 series, the owner sounded his horn and gave me the thumbs up.

you'll need to get a HD camera martin, it might show off just how good the paint job is, i was lucky enough to catch a glimpse of it a while back, it could have rolled off the production line yesterday

he replaced the front wings on his - he bought them from a bmw specialist in germany near where i lived out there. it's his rear arches that are rusty now and he hasn't used it for so long that the mint cream leather electric interior is mouldy

He's not going to want to hear this Nick but I would sell that car on and just pay all the money for a proper car as his will never be 100%.... Having said that proper 635's command big money now and everyone that owns one knows the score. I sold a Hi Line shitter for £1500 a few years back but no matter how much was spent on it, it would never be as good as mine.

What amazes me is how far ahead of the game BMW were back then, I'm comparing my car to modern stuff and it compares!
