May not be steal of the century, but still a steal. Thought the pikeys weren't being admitted this year. It's a shame that there are nobweeds out there that feel the need to take something that's not theirs. I genuinely hope the thieving git catches some form of fatal disease.

Sorry the link is a "sign-in" only as it is to my website.
But the car that has had the spare wheel strap pinched was the White MKII RS2000 X-Pack 700 mile unmolested ORIGINAL car !
To get a suitable NOS replacement item is gonna be Ł150 +
The value is NOT the issue
What makes it worse is that the thieving scum who took this item knew exactly what they were stealing and it only fits a MKII RS Escort
I am only glad for the scum concerned that they did not get "caught in the act" as they would most likely have woken up in the back of a 2 car transporter in Northern Ireland
A Ł500 reward has been offered by a user from www.rallyesportescorts.co.uk that is how strong feelings are about this !

I can appreciate the off cuff remark about not being the crime of the century but...
You have to remember, this has been stolen by someone who is a fello enthusiast, who knows what it is worth, knows how rare it is and knows how important it is to the guy who ownes the car.
Infact, IT IS WORSE than if the car got lifted, if it had, it would be some scumbage who would be breaking it for parts, but this is going to have been taken by a REAL SCUMMER who will have taken it to use on their car almost certainly.
I love my Fords, but wouldn't have a clue what that trap was worth, so you would have to be into them to know. Far worse an act in my eyes.
