Hi thinking of going to the Blackpool ford day on Sunday. Never been before has anyone on here been and is it any good? I know its not going to be a ford fair style event but is it any better than the average local Ford meet in a pub car park?

Yeah hopefully it will be. Apparently people get there really early so I'm going g up about 10am. Look out for a turquoise xr3i cab mate that's me 😜

I will be there with the Retrobeutes, should be my zetec turbo escort cab, a real nice mk1 fiesta, a mk1 capri 3.0gt, a escort si turbo, a v8 capri, probably a escort cosworth and a few other top motors from the north west.

Turns out it was a very good day out! Loads of nice fords on display new and old (some ive seen before at other shows/meets) and for free aswel, can't grumble at that!
Especially liked the, ERM.... Shall we say "competitive driving" on the way home by a few focus RS', ST's and Escos! 😆
Next year I think I'll pay to be on show!
