Default ford fair track time

Is limited to road legal fords only as stated in the official ford fair email I've just got

Does that mean fords only on display too?

i dont think it should be limted to road legal cars only as there are plenty of ford track cars.and only fords should be allowed into ford fair

although this says something different

http://fordfair.seetickets.com/event...circuit/754689

so i'm assuming the first 3 sessions will be road legal only? but why stop at the first 3 then and let everyone have a free for all afterwards? it's not like they put novices out with novivces as it's all come all served at any session

the cars on display thing has been covered by Dan and me in recent months, non fords should really NOT be on any club display, but we all know there will be some blagging there way in its up to each club organiser to ensure all who book are fully aware not to bring non fords, I have also toughened up this year on those joining us on stand as too many abuse the club stand simply wanting a prime car parking space rather than someone actually wanting to exhibit their car and I will refuse entry onto our club stand of any non ford even if you paid for a ticket

the first 3 sessions they are saying is for road legal cars only, as they are cheaper to book too @ Ł25 a go rather than Ł35 a go

but if they can enforce this rule then why can't they enforce the novice and intermediate and expert rules too on those laps?

i went round one year first out and everything was flying past me on the straights and i was in the novice group even though i've been on track many a time before yet there were 400 brake focuseses on the track at the same time

When I booked on last year it stated that we would be on the full Grand Prix circuit as usual, but on the day I was well pissed of that they stuck us in the shitty national cuircuit. Iv been on track at ford fair for the last 8 years but won't be bothering if this years the same, as for no track cars rule seems a bit daft as it is a race track afterall?

Ford fair tracktime is a free for all. novices to race cars and all in between

Because its ad-hoc sessions theres no way they can srutineer every car. But...
most tracks have a no roll-cage = no slicks rule.

Im going for the three inter sessions at the end of the day.
I was in session F last year (2 laps then red flagged), too early/too many hotheads.

your totally right but for 2014 onwards classic ford/ford fair will be strictly fords only on the PF stand, as for other shows I have no objection to mixing things up

Hi 1-PD
I drag my Puma track-toy/project around, behind my (lightly) Modified Smiley Transit.
Would I be able to get two stand passes? (there will be 2 of us!)

you would need to buy your tickets through PF to obtain a stand pass but the transit will have to go to the car park once unloaded unless its more than slightly modded

By tranny standards its radical, next to my puma its near standard!
The van has rare wheels, ford foglights and a few other cosmetics. But its my track support vehicle so earns its keep, most modding has been in the business end of the van...
Ill probably be at the York meet in it.
Ill sort some photos for my profile and you can be the judge (its no shed )

Well, i hope they will keep the novice class to kinda standard cars..

Last year i had the least amount of power from all in my session.
(i only got 121 bhp..)
But, i probably had the most fun of them all
The Fiesta goes so much faster round the corner as my old Mondeo did..

So i am looking forward to FordFair.
Got my tracktime booked already
