Yeah that's a fooker Steve, wouldn't it have been great to get some RS 500 race cars going round
thats for sure pete as silverstone classics clashed last year and most rs500s were there, this year it clashes with the scottish car show as well as a regional one down my neck of the woods

The Scottish show is full of Corsa's and Jap Crap!! Some o you southerners get nose bleeds anyway when you near Carslisle!!! lol!!
Do you not find the short circuit quicker though Rich ? I always felt the Melbourne Loop seemed to scrub a lot of your momentum off rather than a quicker right and left and on it again down the start/finish line.
Plus I don't think they would be happy to see folk drifting on the loop

I really like the Melbourne Loop its a tricky corner to get the Apex right then you can power slide it out
The short circuit is quicker thou alot of people slow down far to much for the little chicane before the start finish straight you can take it quite quickly.
Rich
This was a good year track wise. Not the best quality vid but some quick cars out on track. Paul Bailey, Steve Scott, Porkie and the Zoo 3 door to name a few
Just wish you saw track action like that at national day now
Defo Col,
I think tbf Cossies have risen in value so much folks just don't track them now, my kinda thinking anyway, may be totally wrong of course and i guess money isn't spare like it was back then, hard times etc

Trouble is the passes are to expensive, wish they would sell session passes like ford fair as I would be very tempted to get my car out there again and also just a session gives you chance to see the show and watch the track action aswell
Maybe it being no noise limit the big boys will come out to play. Fook knows have you can have a noise restricted track next to a bloody airport though grrr
I was there the year that vid was took and it was a great day, however nd has gone to pot now big style as all i remember about last years was selling my saph and a white saph getting wrote off by a blind pleb in a silver 4x4. So not going anymore

It does take the piss doesn't it, when you have 747's 10ft above your head every 10 mins
It was yes, he was battling with the Bailey Escort, was a great day that
Wicked battle that was, Scottie was getting wilder every time he came through the chicane, ended up more rally cross when he finally managed to get past the Bailey car
i remember that day that was back when all the unused track was filled with cars plus every field around was too, when i went last year the flat at the top off the hill near where the giant spark plug used to be was empty wheras in 2004 there was at least 300 3 door cossies parked there plus all the other cars as well!
such a shame the scene has died off so much
