Cool MSA Dunlop Touring Cars / Passionford Oct 5,6,7th Oct

Many of you took the chance to be a part of the Official passionford stand for the BTCC touring cars at silverstone on the long weekend of the 5,6,7th October, This is real action packed weekend for the hard core for those that can do all 3 days, bookings closed for this on 27 August but we will be doing this event next year on the weekend of September 28-29.

you can pay on the gate on the day and come over to the PF stand and say Hi

Silverstone are delighted to be hosting the 2012 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship on the 05,06,07 October*. This highly competitive championship promises fans no shortage of frantic, no holds barred action. There are no flimsy little cars in this championship, only hard and fast tourers, driven by racers who are never afraid to rub paint if the situation demands it.

The BTCC will once again take place on the National Circuit and has one of the richest histories in British motor racing.
The Touring Car weekend features a busy schedule of racing, with many support races. Away from the track there is plenty to keep the whole family entertained.

What to expect !

As you bought your tickets through PF you will all recieve FREE paddock access so the chance to meet drivers like Plato, Neal, Sheddon, Jackson and Collard and possibly getting your face or car on TV as its shown live on sunday on ITV4 at 11am, but filming will also be taking place on the saturday too.

What going on for those inside the event !

This event is totally mixed and non make or model specific.

YOU MUST BE ON STAND BY 9AM AT LATEST

FREE Roving Entry for Children 15 and Under

Silverstone Radio on 87.7FM - Don't miss any of the action!

Giant Screen - View All of the Track Action

Trade Mall and Shops

Cafes/Bars and Food Outlets

Event Mobility

BTCC @ Silverstone Oct 6-7 Includes practice, Qualifying and race day all 3 sessions

Please note I take no responsabilty for any loss or damage to tickets as once posted they are out of my control unless you ask for specific higher grade postage.

Default update

Newsflash !!!!!!!!!

Tickets have just arrived, just awaiting the car stand passes from silverstone then these tickets should be ready to post to you by the weekend of 21st/22nd sept, also even more good news not only do these tickets cover you for saturday and sunday and include paddock access they also cover you for the friday too = WOW !

Also if any of you are bringing any children under the age of 15 you MUST let me know asap as they will need a entry ticket

where we will be located is right next to the Wellington straight (hard standing) near the track, very few clubs will be at this event Im told so we are definately one of the lucky ones

Had news last night that all the car clubs attending this event were to be placed on the gravel in the dreaded B17 plots, no one wants that location when its ford fair / trax , so I have asked silverstone not to locate us there and they have accepted my request so we will be relocated to another hard standing position away from the other clubs TBA, strange thing is no other events organiser objected except me, so we shall see who is laughing come show day

ALL tickets and special infield car club passes have now arrived, I will post out ALL tickets on Tuesday 25th Sept, do not lose the special windscreen security pass or your car will not be admitted to the stand as security on proper racing days is mega strict and nowhere near as slack as at normal car shows

You must be on the stand by 9AM at the latest.

Please read the following information from the organisers at Silverstone as security is very tight nothing like ford fair as they are strict

A plan of the Car Club areas are attached for your reference. Please take a look at the plans and cascade to your members as there are two different areas in use for Clubs at this event.

To gain access to Woodcote please proceed to the main entrance, Gate 19, displaying your internal vehicle pass, then turn immediately left before the metal bridge and follow the ring road round which bears right then take a right after the first toilet block and onto the Woodcote area. The areas will be loosely marked passionford and ffoc so please park up and keep cars stationary for the rest of the day as there will be a lot of public coming in and out of Grandstands in this area.

You are permitted to set up a small marquee/pop-up within your area. Please be aware that staking is not permitted in these areas so appropriate weights must be provided to secure your stands; we do not hold concrete blocks or weights on site.

The core trading times in the E-Zone are 9am until 6pm each day and vehicle movement should be avoided during these times. We ask that once parked, the cars remain stationary until you exit the site at the end of the day. Any vehicles found to be moving around the site during these times may have their vehicle passes removed.

I also have new passionford window stickers in stock so I will be bringing them to the event or if you buy them now I can include them with your tickets with no extra postage charge, they are £3 each or 2 for £4 and they are silver reverse cut for internal glass fitment 1" high 7" wide ideal for side windows as shown on Ade500s Cossie but without the watford part
