Ah mate 3 or 4 car lengths wasn't too bad considering the power difference. 500-700bhp WRC FFD spec 4x4 against RWD road car 380bhp.....yeah what a shut down And yours wouldn't stand a chance with that piss poor transmission

Ah mate it wasn't that bad considering, completely different from where I was sitting. Not bad at all result considering the difference, it was basically a full works car. I'm proud of that and would pay money to see anyone else have enough balls to race against one

Great driving in the Escort, was a treat to watch. Shame UK Cosworth drivers (Barring Andrew G etc) dont seem to be able to drive like that even with RWD, as its great to see.

I'm new here, so forgive me for speaking out of line, but WTF?

Why would people not 'dare' race a car? It wasn't for money, it was for fun, and you got your arse handed to you, as you'd expect, esp with a soft launch like that.
But it's all just for fun, and if you willing to pay people to 'dare' race a fast car, there will be queues around the block of people taking your money off you lol

The fact it wasn't a complete ass raping was more than enough justification to me, my car did well. Off the top of my head I can think of at least 3 others who took a car from the UK, two of them driving all the way there and back, and unlike you, I saw two of them driving hard on track.

There may have been more, but 3 I can think of.
