We'll be over milling round somewhere Dave as a couple of the Scoobys are running some MEFmotorsport mods

As Camelot is all but cancelled this year were off out on a day trip Well actually there is some sort of Autotest happening there on the 28th (Camelot) but not sure if its got a decent entry. Were off to see the proper action

Thanks - is there a calendar for next year on the website anywhere?
I am not surprised the Metro won its class - it looked very quick through the bends at the grandstand end where i was watching with my son for most of it.
Where are the pics located exactly?
Cheers.

As for the calendar, what sort of events are you interested in ? Local clubman rallies like that one, bigger national events, or full on world championship rounds ?

Those metro's are extremely quick in a straight line, and driven by the right person will win everytime

Anything really - i went to the WRC at Margam park last year but you have to wait afges etc.
Days like yesterday at Croft are ideal as its only 65miles from me and you can get real close - my son loved it.
I have a sapphire i might have a go at a couple of Track days in 05 but slowly as i havn't done it before...............pictures look good - thanks

Most clubman and National rallys you can get up close like that. You can wander round the pits, talk to the drivers and look closely at the cars etc. Then go and see them on the stages within a short walk.

Events are happening all around the country all year round and a good source for info is www.britishrally.co.uk. The calendar on that page is still set to 2004 as the 2005 one is being compiled at the moment. Just keep your eyes on it. The 2004 one is here http://www.britishrally.com/calendars/2004.asp

Don't be frightened by going on track - its not as hard as it looks and you will enjoy the day. The Derby and Durham RSOC run a track day at Croft so you could get to go on that track you were watching at yesterday If you need any help or advice just give us - or any of the track regulars on here a shout and we'll gladly help

Thanks for that Tony.
I was at croft last year for the RS show and that convinced me so i went and bought a sapphire!!
I already have a 3dr but that is more into being cleaned than driven hard and i figured i ought to have a go before i get too old!!
My son is 13 and its all he talks about which drives the wife up the wall........hopefully i will pluck up courage to have a go before croft so be ready for it.
Elvington is not far from me so i might have a go there once weather dries up.
Car is 2wd and i don't want to wrap it up first go.
Nice to know people are keen to help- cheers.
