Did my g'box selecter on stage 2, rally over so I went home.Gutted.They were awesome stages though,the twisty bit by the spectators was awesome!(and I made the wife sick for the first time,got my new 4:6 CWP in the diff so things are much quicker now)
My mate came 4th overall in his mk2 beating 6R4's and WRC cars so I've not heard the end of it since. You're car seamed to have a few probs/Smokey? What happened?

Bit of a nightmare then Andy - sorry to read that. 
We had a sucessful event down Cornwall this weekend - my mate finished 17 o/a 4th in class on the National event in the Scooby. He was running a lot higher up earlier in the day but a nut came off the wiper motor and he had to do 3 stages in the rain with virtually zero visability
Only got beaten in class by 6R4's so its not all that bad I suppose 
Is there any more good events coming up down there in May ??

Is it true Steve Furzeland flipped his WRC Subaru on top of a 6R4?
And, I think I saw you on Men and Motors "Out of Control III" yesterday, beside a large pile of dirt, the car looked stuck, it was deffo your car.Mines on "out of control II" on the longcross jump.

Yep its true Andy.
It happened on Penhale on Sunday Morning Initial reports we had was that one had gone over the cliff and was fatal - but thankfully that was just all untrue.
Steve left the road and hit John Indri's 6R4 quite bad. 2 stages were cancelled out of 6 planned for that morning.
The out of control III was me at Burscough airfield in 2003 I think
Car stalled (electrical problem) at the end of a long straight - mind was on other things and I ploughed it straight into the soil bank
Then it wouldnt re-start due to same problem Eventually got it going - but had to retire later in the day due to it cutting out. All sorted now though So were both famous then
