Sounds like a great day, but be warned as was stated in the original post. Noise regs at Bedford are very tight now and they really will throw you off after 2 laps if you trip the meters anywhere meaning you lose your 139 quid.

Seen many unhappy people over this year get kicked off but thems is the rules.

Just make sure your cars are WELL under the limit and you will have a happy day!

Gives me a date to aim for to have the Westies new super quiet exhaust sorted!!!

What they want, is all cars to be quiet enough to pass the noise regs and hence not cause the circuit to be closed down by the council.

A reasonable request IMHO

you mean like the time me you and Jim went to Bedford in his M3 and they were so concerend about noise regs that they almost didnt bother to even test Jim's car and the marshall telling the owner of the saff with his nitrous the exact palces he could use full boost and the nos. Yes, they seem really concered about complaints and getting shut down rofl

Not a dig at yu obviosuly Chippa but the above kind of makes a mockery of their own stringent rules IMO

Rich, they dont care about noise, they care about noise pings, you dont seem to notice the difference.

If you are making noise on a part of the track not near a meter, its cause that part of the track isnt as near to residents and wont cause complaints, so I see no problem in them telling you where and where not to be particuarly careful.

Theres no getting away from the noise regs, i was there 2 weeks ago and we counted 4 mics in different places around the track. You cant try and sneak past one and then boot it for the rest of the lap as they are well spaced out.

There was a guy there in a elise, track opened at 9am and by 9.10am he was kicked off circuit and goodbye to his £225 track day really harsh but my FRS was ok on noise and there was one less elise to overtake me for the day

if you fail on noise regs on one car, will they let you swap to another car?

25 quid for the day.

Do NOT go as a spectator unless you are signed on as a passenger is my advice, its shit as a spectator unless you are signed on as you get to see such a tiny rubbish bit of the track and cant chat to anyone as they are all over in the pits.

Awesome, fingers crossed for the usual bedford spec good weather then

Your car at bedford should be very quick, certainly far better down the long back straight (1 KM IIRC) than my poxy Clio with less than half the power!
