Default Devon Street Racing 7th & 8th June

Not one, but two days of great street racing south west style at Dakota Drag Strip over the 7th & 8th June.

7th June, will see the first ever Saturday Street Nights at Dakota Drag Strip.
Gates open at 12.00pm, Drag strip opens at 2.00pm and racing will continue until 9.00 pm for that ultimate street racing atmosphere. Saturday Street Nights will see a bigger and better handling circuit that opens also at 2.00pm until 9.00pm. If you’re into show and not go, there will be a show & shine contest with some great trophies up for grabs. A trophy will be up for grabs for the Saturday Street Nights bikini babe contest.

Sunday Street Wars the following day is action packed with the drag strip, handling circuit and the show area. Dakota Drag Strip sees the return of the quickest Japanese street legal cars in the south west for round two of the Enginertuner Japanese Performance Series. King Of The Hill Eliminator and Street Stylers Southwest Extreme Reaction time contest..

Admission Saturday £5.00 per person, Sunday £5.00 per person
Drag strip £20.00 per driver unlimited runs per day, two days £35.00 ( licence and helmet required)
Handling circuit £20.00 per driver unlimited runs per day , two days £35.00 (licence and helmet required)

No Alcohol , No Pets or Animals.

hi bud been there a few times now.its off the chart!

its just what the south west needs theres alot of big powered cars go. if only the boys on here would come along they could help us ford boy kick some jap crap ass.

saddly my rs will not be out this year due to binning the zvh turbo in going for big power zetec turbo

Ive owned the handling track there so far, gonna give that a miss this time and run the strip. Should be running 10sec/qtr all day

Not many people there today I got 22 runs in and left around 5ish. Great for my first time it took me a few runs to get used to the lights. best time of 8.7 @88mph. dont know how that compares to other cosworths?

was yours the black saff mate... looked really good.. wished mine was up and running i would have brought it along.. the ground at the start line looked really rough for some of the cars too.... whats the spec of yours mate... sounded real quiet too..?
did look good tho..

Yeah mine is the black one. yeah the ground at the start was rough I found in the right lane it would spin more, until my last few runs. Its just got the normal stage 3 stuff on it. would of been good to see more fords there.

went well for stage 3.. seemed to grip quite well some of the time... once mine is out of the bodyshop ill probably give it a run up their.. hopefully some better tyres and maybe an adjustable beam too as mine is really shit for grip.. i doubt mine would even grip as well as yours did...

gobble your saff looked a good one!i was in the silver evo 6 on the handling section most the day which i won and got 8.3 on the drag. not a very good turnout tho think most people are going the sunday instead.will try and post some vids later

I managed a 6.9 @ 111mph so that bagged me a trophy, was dead quite tho
